Nick Croft – Author

Hello there,

My name is Nick Croft. I’m a writer, web developer, accessibility specialist, and disability advocate. My most important titles are “husband” and “dad”. I’m the guy who married his highschool sweet heart and was blessed with four amazing children. We also have the joy of being pet parents to a wonderful lab mix.

My life changed when our then fifteen-year-old daughter went into sudden cardiac arrest. She survived, and our family began a new chapter shaped by disability, resilience, and the day-to-day realities of rebuilding a life.

I’ve spent my career building websites with a focus on accessibility, helping make the web more usable for everyone. I’m also the author of Genesis Explained, a book about the Genesis Theme Framework for WordPress. My latest book is a biography that follows a little over a year of our family’s experience; told with honesty, love, and the hope that our story can help others feel less alone.
